Isn't it strange!

Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to church, but such a small amount when you go shopping?

Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?

Isn't it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible, but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel?

Jesus Way Ministries Haiti Missions

The Mission Friends and Ms. Karen are collecting donations to help with the Spring Mission Trip to Haiti.  Items that are needed: 

• Baby wipes (Walmart brand)
• Twin size bed sheets (prefer new-good clean used sets are acceptable)

If you can help, bring your donated items to the church by March 6^th.  A box will be in the office area for the items.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and I hope that you have bought that special card, candy or gift for that special someone. We had a wonderful service last Sunday. I am sorry some of you missed it. Bro Jerry brought a tremendous message that many of you are still talking about.

The second point of his message was, “I will not be regulated by my past.” So many of us are regulated by our past. It seems we can’t get past our past. It seems to control us, and I am not saying that it is easy to break free from the past. God wants us to be free from sin and our past that seems to keep us from that freedom.
